The Upside of Dust Storms
At least at this point in the year, this one was followed by a day that didn't get above the mid-80's. I think this is the Iraqi equivalent of that weird snowstorm in Amarillo recently. Man, it was nice today, and of course I slept through it.
We've got a little action coming up from the tech side, which will be interesting.
Other than that, not much else here.
Just waiting for my first shipments from the states.

Hey bud,
Matt here:
Sounds like you are having fun! :-)
Too bad you dont have a good solid high speed connection there I found a great MMOLRPG it is called City of Heroes. It is published here in Austin. If you have some time on line you should check out their site http://www.coh.com.
meast out
MEAST,
Once I get my laptop and can get on a non-military network, I am going to try HL-2 multiplayer. If that doesn't completely suck wind I might try WOW or COH or the like. I have a sneaking suspicion that it will in fact suck lots of wind. All our links out of here are via Satellite. The best RTT to the other side of the satellite link is 550ms. RTT to things like google, yahoo, etc. are longer.
I hope you are able to get on that would be too cool to play with you from there.
If you are able to get on to COH I will either be in as BlueFlaMEast or Mr. RedCross.
I hope every thing else is going well for you and that you are safe and warm. Heh I said warm... Muhahahaha!
