Appearances...
can be deceiving.
After awhile, you get into a routine, you get your work tasks figured out, things just sort of flow along, just like when you are back in the states. And then...
They shut the water off. All of it. Until they work on the filter. Showers? Nope. Flush toilets? Nope. Sinks? Nope. If its running water, its not available. We did this for about 24 hours. Lots of activity around the port-a-potties!
At least my tent's AC worked. Another ITT tent lost its AC due to some sort of malfunction. I haven't heard yet if they got it fixed. Not good for those who sleep during the day.
No laptop yet. Thus no pictures.

I was beginning to wonder if you had found a hobby there since you hadn't blogged in a few days, but now I know why. You were probably just trying to find a place that had some type of running water. I keep up with you by this blogging thing so don't fail me now. We just finished Mother's Day dinner, and Shelly was bragging about the flowers you sent her. They weren't as wilted as I thought they would be coming all that way. : ) Some things never change. The guys made a good steak lunch for us, but it wasn't the same without you. Hope all is well.
Regarding movies. Do you get first run movies or is it released to video movies. Years ago I think it was you that loaned me audio of "Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy", can't wait to see the movie. I hope it's not a disappointment.

Sounds like fun! I can't wait. Who needs water?
